God Bless you, Bill
There will be a number of mini completions on this "Completion Tour" of Japan. The first happened this afternoon, as King Crimson completed what may well prove to be their final rehearsal. One with which everyone seemed very satisfied.
Even though things are currently different due to the quarantine requirements, Japan remains a wonderful place to be.
On the way back to the hotel, Mel, Iona and I were reminiscing about places that we had visited with Bill Rieflin when we were last here. I have been here fairly regularly, both with and without King Crimson, but it does somehow feel strange to be here without him. If it didn't feel like an abuse of the English language, I would suggest that his absence is more present. Something like that.
And, as luck would have it, I needed to review the photo session from our last visit today. So here is a selection with Bill. They were taken by Claudia Hahn, who has been working with Jeremy as part of the road crew for the last few days - although I think we may well be requesting her photographic skills again in a couple of days.
God bless you, Bill.
